It's happening! Coming to theaters this September...



And interestingly, I feel like the movie trailer chose pretty much the same shots and plot points to highlight as the book trailer (which happens to be one of my favorite book trailers of all time).  See below for comparison.



Now I (and everyone else who loves the series) just hope that the movie lives up to the book.

Judy Blume's Tiger Eyes Hits the Big Screen

It has happened.  Judy Blume and her son adapted her novel Tiger Eyes into a screenplay and then he directed the movie!  It shall be in theaters on June 7th.

And now is the part where I confess I haven't read Tiger Eyes.  I always meant to check it out when I walked by it in the library, but it never happened.   I'll fix that.  Maybe even before I see the movie.

Trailer Tuesday Bonus: Geography Club Movie

I still can't seem to figure out just when the film is being released, but there exists a trailer for Geography Club!  I haven't read the Brent Hartinger novel, but I recall that a few years ago some parent wanted it pulled from the shelves because of the LGBT content.  And ever since I heard that someone wanted to keep others from reading it, well, it's been on my TBR list.  I'm going to have to make sure to read it before the movie release...whenever that may be!
