Let the Mockingjay Countdown Begin!

I've said it before and I will say it again: Suzanne Collin's Hunger Games is one of my absolute, most favoritest books EVER! So naturally I've been anticipating the August 24th release of Mockingjay, the third book in the series, since I finished reading the ARC of Catching Fire that I received at last year's BEA.  Mockingjay's release is now a mere 22 days away, and I'm so ready to get reading*.  But since there's an embargo and we can't start reading just yet, how about we build up our anticipation to feverishly high levels?

We'll start with a trailer...

Proceed to an article in SLJ (that gives nothing away, but maybe it does?)...

And top it off with a 13-Distrct blog tour, where bloggers more fortunate than I have been selected to write about the trilogy AND give away fabulous prizes!  Galleysmith (aka District 1) kicks off the tour, which will proceed to Sci Fi  Guy on Wednesday, the 4th.

It's almost (just almost) too much to bear.  Eeee! I can't wait!

* It's times like these that I am so, so grateful to be a middle school librarian who doesn't go back to work until September, and thus nothing to keep me from spending the whole release day reading!
