One of my favorite bookish websites is Book Riot. The contributors posted their favorite books of 2012, and what do you know, TWO books for the under 18s made the list. Talk about deja vu! This time it was (surprise!) John Green's young adult novel, The Fault in Our Stars and R.J. Palacio's middle grade novel, Wonder. Such great books! So awesome to see them breaking onto lists of 2012 favorites that would typically include only "adult" books. Even better is the reaction by the contributor who could hardly believe that a middle grade novel was one of her favorites for the year. Joy of joys!
