Bookfeels

No, a bookfeel isn't when you cop a feel on a favorite book.  Can you even do that? What would the logistics to such a thing be? I digress.

Bookfeels are .gifs that micro-review a book by capturing just a few seconds of the reader's reaction.  Harvard design student Paulina Haduong created this tumblr of bookfeels for her Library Test Kitchen project.

Here I am bookfeeling Alan Gratz's Prisoner B-3087:

Fun, right? I am totally having my students and faculty make these.

You can make your own bookfeel here!

  1. I'm intrigued by this. It's an even shorter version of the "a booktalk should be no longer than it takes for a match to burn out" rule of thumb.
