So, word on the street (and by word on the street, I mean that I read on Kristi(e)'s blog Purple Polka) is that it is Delurking Week!
You might not know from the proliferation of posts, but I suffer from constant self-blog-doubt. So if you're reading this, let me know by leaving a comment. A moment of your time will make my day and give me the strength to keep on blogging.
Update: To make this more fun and purposeful, I'm going to take a page from Abby the Librarian's book and ask that you include in your comment the answer to this question: What was your favorite book of 2008? OR What book are you most looking forward to in 2009?
Oooh! I like your take on Abby's question. I am most looking forward to The Everafters War by Michael Buckley. It's the 7th installment of the Sisters Grimm series.
ReplyDeleteP.s. Thanks for the compliment! I used to dye my hair whenever I felt like I needed a change, but I think I've outgrown that. Now my blog gets all the radical transformation energy.
P.p.s I too have self-blog-doubt. My friend Danielle comments every so often which keeps me motivated that at the very least one person is reading it. :)
ReplyDeleteMe, me! I read your blog!
ReplyDeleteAnd my fav book of 2008 is either Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book, or Laurie Halse Anderson's Chains.
But that's probably because I read them this week. (As a rule, my favorite book is whatever I happen to be reading.)
Thanks for commenting at my place, and helping assuage my own Blog Doubt! I will be spending 2009 looking forward to a book coming out in 2010--Megan Whalen Turner's new one!
ReplyDeleteI am slow in responding to comments. Thanks to all of you who commented! Hope to see you "around" in the blogosphere.
