I think it's very telling how many people "like" the one comment from the unemployed librarian who hasn't been able to find a job since graduating in 2007. From what I can tell this is an increasingly serious problem for MLIS graduates - and relocating to find a job, as is suggested in the comments, isn't possible for everyone.
